MORENA is a third-generation sparkling wine, made by the Soler family on a single 22-hectare estate in the Penedès. Organic since 1968. Biodynamic since 2004.
We are not a winery. We are farmers who got tired of mass-produced sparkling — so we make our own, slowly.
MORENA was founded in 1947 by Antonio Soler, who returned from the war and decided that life was too short to drink bad cava. Three generations later, his granddaughter Inés runs the estate using the same hand-riddling racks her grandfather built. We make 12,000 bottles a year — not one more.

Twenty-two hectares of limestone-rich Penedès terroir, planted entirely to Xarel·lo, Spain's most distinctive sparkling grape. Goats keep the cover crop short. Three dogs keep the boars away. No employees outside the family.
